Here is some information on the first important steps:
Corporate Card activation
To activate your Corporate Card, please call the number on the sticker found on your Corporate Card
or go to www.americanexpress.de/aktivieren.
Registration
It is important that you register for “Ihr Konto” on
www.americanexpress.de/konto-online
to ensure that you receive email notification as soon your statement is ready to be downloaded and have access to your statements.
The registration allows you to
- track expenses
- access statements
- create Push/email alerts
- view and change PIN online
- use currency calculator
- communicate with our customer service team via secure email connection
Your PIN
Your Corporate Card uses chip and PIN technology for added security. Instead of signing the bill when purchasing an item, you will be asked for your PIN (more and more stores are upgrading their systems). You can view and change your PIN on your online account at www.americanexpress.de/konto-online.
If you applied for a Corporate Card online, you will have been asked to choose your own PIN. If not, your PIN is chosen randomly and will be sent to you by post separately to the Corporate Card.
If you have forgotten your PIN
- you are able to view and change your pin in the secure environment via www.americanexpress.de.
- or you can call in through the customer service and provoke a new distribution of a PIN mailer via post.
No American Express employee can see your PIN and will never ask for it via phone or mail.
Please protect your pin from access via third persons.
